Invitation to the workshop „Land management and nature conservation on alpine pastures and mountain meadows“

What are the characteristics of alpine pastures and mountain meadows in the Eisenwurzen region? How should they be managed? Can management and nature conservation be reconciled?

Alpine pastures and mountain meadows are characterised by diverse cultivation and unique flora and fauna. Their social value as natural and cultural goods is high. In the LANA project, we are exploring the different expectations regarding alpine pastures and mountain meadows in the Eisenwurzen region. 

STUDIA Schlierbach and BOKU Vienna invite you to contribute your knowledge and experience and to demonstrate the sustainable characteristics of our alpine pastures and mountain meadows. Participate with your expertise in nature and agriculture, husbandry, management of alpine pastures and mountain meadows or in your responsibility in public administration, in tourism associations … Interested people from the population are especially welcome.
