Project title: Willingness to cooperate and embrace change in the Kremstal economy
The project, which originated in the municipality of Schlierbach, aims to promote cooperation and change within the region, thereby strengthening the regional economy. The creation of an innovation support network will promote cross-sector partnerships that contribute to the development of new business models and increase regional value creation. This project is an iterative process that aims to revitalise the regional economy through workshops and meetings with a wide range of participants.
Cross-sector cooperation involves agriculture, the entire commercial economy, freelancers and other affected groups and organisations.
Starting from Schlierbach means that the municipality is seen as a ‘cell’ and the region as an ‘organism’. The project begins in the municipality and will then gradually expand the cooperation approaches to the region.
The approach includes strengthening regional economic cycles and taking ecological and social aspects into account with the aim of developing the region in a future-oriented manner. Existing initiatives will be used as a basis for developing a contemporary concept for the years 2024 to 2030. The project results are to be promoted through systematic networking and anchored in the region, with a particular focus on the areas of ‘next generation’ and food, but also leaving room for new approaches to cooperation.
STUDIA’s activities in this project are:
- Stakeholder and network analysis
- Research and investigation of best practices
- Identify success factors and obstacles to successful cooperation and networking
- Analyse the regional economic impact of selected cooperation projects
- Develop an analysis grid for evaluating cooperation projects
