We are delighted that Clara Leutgeb has been joining the STUDIA team since 1 July 2026, bringing her expertise as a biologist. She studied zoology and Cognition, Behavior and Neurobiology at the University of Vienna, and English and American Studies at the University of Graz, and has worked in zoological research and in protected area management.
At STUDIA, she is investigating the relationship between biodiversity and agriculture, as well as the ecological and economic impacts of organic farming practices. She is also investigating the effects of restored and restorable river landscapes on adjacent agricultural land. Furthermore, she is examining what regional adaptation measures are required to enable rural areas to respond successfully to changing conditions, and how the various stakeholder groups can be successfully engaged.
A warm welcome to you, Clara!
