Old aged people may participate in societal life for a long time – but they may need structures supporting them.
The ‘Zeitbank55+’ model is such a structure, based on mutual confidence and help. In cooperation with the association of “Zeitbanken”, the German SPES e.V. and the Czech centre TOTEM-RDC in Pilsen the immaterial as well the socio-economic effects of the model has been quantified.
