Your partner for transdisciplinary research in rural areas
STUDIA is a social science research organisation based in Schlierbach, Upper Austria. It deals with socio-economic and socio-ecological issues related to rural areas. STUDIA follows a transdisciplinary approach.
In addition to regional economic assessments and value added analyses, the scientific application of participatory processes is one of the core competences of STUDIA. Land use, food and energy supply and living in rural areas play an important role here. We provide a sound basis for decision-making and argumentation by applying and linking a wide range of scientific methods. In all of this, we take a holistic and integrative approach to our work.
