Wooden modular furniture from National Parks: International competition for more sustainability in the region.
An international competition of ideas will create more sustainability in regions of Upper Austria and Bavaria. Typical wood resources will be used for producing high value furniture. European universities for design will be invited for finding new modular design elements as a basis for furniture series.
The project is funded under the Program ‘INTERREG Bayern – Österreich 2007-2013’ by the European Union and the European Fond for Rural Development, and is as well as co-financed by the government of Upper Austria.
